iPhone Comparison · 2026
A straight-talking comparison of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro, display, size, cameras, performance, battery and Renewed price, so you know exactly which one is right for you.
The iPhone 15 Pro refines the 14 Pro with four headline upgrades: a USB-C port, a lighter titanium body, the customisable Action button, and the faster A17 Pro chip with console-grade gaming. The cameras and stunning 120Hz displays are nearly identical. For most people the 14 Pro is the value pick, it does almost everything the 15 Pro does for less. Choose the 15 Pro for USB-C, the lighter build, or the extra gaming power.

Where each phone wins, and where it genuinely doesn't matter.
The 15 Pro switches from stainless steel to titanium, dropping from 206 g to 187 g, so it feels noticeably lighter in the hand. It also swaps the mute switch for a customisable Action button. The 14 Pro's steel frame is heavier and more fingerprint-prone, though both share Ceramic Shield and IP68.
Identical on paper and in use: a 6.1″ 120Hz ProMotion OLED with always-on, the Dynamic Island and up to 2000 nits outdoors. No difference here.
Both are very fast, but the 15 Pro's A17 Pro (3nm) adds hardware ray tracing and pulls ahead in demanding games and pro apps. The 14 Pro's A16 is still excellent for everyday use, you'll only feel the gap in the heaviest games.
Both use a 48MP main, 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP 3x telephoto with LiDAR. The 15 Pro adds smarter default processing and Log video for pros, but for everyday photos the two are very close. The bigger camera jump that year went to the 15 Pro Max with its 5x zoom.
The 15 Pro moves to USB-C with fast USB 3 data transfer, the same cable as modern laptops, iPads and Android phones. The 14 Pro is still on Lightning. If you are tired of carrying two cables, this alone may decide it.
Both last about 23 hours of video and charge at around 27W wired or 15W MagSafe. No meaningful difference.
The 14 Pro is the value champion: a near-identical screen and cameras for less. You pay extra on the 15 Pro for USB-C, titanium and the newer chip.
You want flagship Pro features, the 120Hz always-on display and the 48MP camera system, at the best price, and you're happy using a Lightning cable.

iPhone 14 Pro is for you if…
…you want one of the best cameras you can get on a phone, a gorgeous screen, and you don't need to spend extra just because the number changed. You still use Lightning chargers, you're not bothered. You'll save real money and you'll barely notice what you're missing.
iPhone 15 Pro is for you if…
…you're tired of carrying two different cables - one for your phone and one for your laptop. Or you want a phone that feels noticeably lighter in your hand every day. The camera and screen are almost identical. You're really paying for the convenience of one cable and the lighter build.
For most people the 14 Pro is the better value, it shares the same class-leading display and a very similar camera. Step up to the 15 Pro mainly for USB-C, the lighter titanium body, the Action button, or the faster A17 Pro chip for gaming.
The charge port. The 15 Pro uses USB-C while the 14 Pro uses Lightning. The 15 Pro is also lighter (titanium, 187 g vs 206 g) and adds the customisable Action button.
Only slightly. Both have the same 48MP main, ultra-wide and 3x telephoto cameras. The 15 Pro has newer processing and adds Log video for professionals, but everyday photos look very similar. The major camera upgrade that year went to the 15 Pro Max with its 5x zoom.
Yes. The 14 Pro has a 120Hz always-on display, a 48MP Pro camera system and the powerful A16 chip, and it runs the latest iOS. It remains a top-tier phone and excellent value Renewed.
No. Only the iPhone 15 Pro has USB-C, the 14 Pro still uses Lightning. If USB-C matters to you, that points to the 15 Pro.
